Complete removal of unwanted, dead, diseased or oversized trees. Where space is tight, we dismantle the tree in sections using ropes and rigging, so your lawn, fences and neighbours stay untouched. We check TPO and conservation area status before we quote.
Tree removal in Croydon →
Straight felling where there's room, sectional dismantling where there isn't, and a full clear-up afterwards. We take the whole tree away, down to the last twig.
Felling, dismantling & clearing →
Crown reduction, crown thinning, crown lifting and deadwood removal, done to recognised standards so the tree stays healthy and keeps its shape. Ideal for letting in light, reducing wind-sail, or clearing branches from roofs and wires.
Tree pruning in Croydon →
We grind the stump and surface roots well below ground level, ready for turf, patio or replanting. A compact machine gets into most Croydon back gardens through a standard side gate.
Stump grinding in Croydon →
Storm damage, fallen trees, split limbs and trees leaning on property. We make the area safe first, then clear and repair what we can.
Emergency tree surgeon in Croydon →
An independent inspection of a tree's health, structure and legal status, with a written report. Useful for landlords, buyers, insurers, planning applications and anyone worried about a tree they can't judge themselves.
Tree surveys in Croydon →
Trimming, reduction and removal of overgrown hedges, including tall leylandii. One-off cuts or regular maintenance.
Hedge cutting in Croydon →
Careful work on trees close to houses, extensions, conservatories, drains and power lines, including trees blamed for subsidence or root damage. Every job is planned to protect your property, and we'll tell you honestly when removing a tree is not the right answer.

The job isn't finished until your garden is clear. Every job includes a full clean-up, with the site swept and raked and all arisings (the branches, brash and wood) taken away or dealt with as agreed.
Where the wood goes. We don't tip everything and forget it. Branches and brash are put through a chipper on site. Chip can be left with you as free mulch for beds and borders, or taken away and used elsewhere. Larger timber is cut into logs. Hardwoods such as oak, ash and beech make good firewood once seasoned, and you're welcome to keep what you like. Anything you don't want is taken off site.
Licensed and legal waste handling. Tree waste is controlled waste, and anyone carrying it commercially in England must be a registered waste carrier. We are a registered waste carrier, and we can show you the details. It's a good question to ask any tree surgeon, since fly-tipped garden waste can be traced back to the householder who hired them.
Diseased and problem material. Not everything can go into the normal chipping stream. Wood from diseased trees, for example from ash dieback or honey fungus, needs careful handling so problems don't spread to healthy trees. We'll tell you what we've found and how it's being dealt with, rather than quietly mixing it in with everything else.
Stump grindings and soil. Stump grindings can be left to fill the hole, spread as mulch or taken away. If you plan to replant in the same spot, we recommend removing most of the grindings and topping up with fresh soil.
Your choice. Tell us at quote stage what you'd like to keep: logs for the fire, chip for the garden, or a completely clean slate. It's all in the price, with no extra charge for leaving things tidy.
